This truck is a Blast!

I've built several RC monster trucks based off the Clodbuster. After a couple years I got the itch to RC again. I seen this truck on the web and decided to get it. Price is fair and the truck is far more cool in person. Absolute blast to rip around my yard. Thanks much!

It’s beautiful but a disappointment unfortunantly

I wasn’t going to review this toy as I feel, it’s a new release that was pushed out fast to get in the hands of preorder customers like myself. I understand the time it takes to bring a project like this to fruition. I purchased this model with the intentions of upgrading it right away so the fact that the steering servo is weak and buzzy right out of the box isn’t a big deal. What is a big deal is the body. There are multiple paint defects and runs on the box corners and cab. I’m trying to not notice it but every time i work on it i see more. the clips are awful. I wish a little more time was invested in some type of clip less mount. I would have paid more for that! Of course i new the body had clips when i bought it and the magnetic mounts i installed took care of most of the aesthetic issue, but I wish it would’ve been done from the factory. It a good toy with a nice chassis and wonderful body lines. i’m just very disappointed with the paint quality. Hopefully adding some decals can help hide the runs.
